gorgeous, sleek, sad and sweet. a bit shy at first. this nice little girl has been waiting too long for somebody to take her home. please come visit and ask a kennel worker to open her cage so you can see what a very nice girl she is! |
She is so beatiful, so friendly why has nobody come to adopt her? This is an awesome cat! She is so relaxed and friendly. She visits with everyone who comes into the cat room and waits at the front of her cage to get noticed so she can get some love. She is stunning to look at, tall and lean, like a kitty super model! The adult cats have such a hard time competing with kittens, even young one year olds like this gal. Please come visit her so you can see what an amazing cat she is. Hurry, the shelter is full-she needs out ASAP. She is friends with A817598, a pretty white and tabby girl who also has the same sleek, thin build. perhaps her sister or her mother? Please email yep6cats@aol.com if you are able to foster, adopt or donate to help save her life!

He came in snuggled with his brother, now he is alone This poor guy is so sad. He came in with a gorgeous all gray brother. The two had spent their whole life together. When they were dumped at the shelter together, they found comfort snuggling close together with their arms around each other. His brother was more outgoing and came to visit at the front of the cage while this shy gray and white boy stayed at the back. The brother got adopted and now he is all alone and scared. He is shy at first but so very sweet when you visit with him. He will meet your hand when you go to pet him and purr softly, closing his eyes. He must miss his brother terribly and he looks beyond heartbroken now that he has lost his home and his brother. He is just one year old. I can't stand to think of how terrified he will be when somebody comes to get him to bring him to the back room. Will sadness, lonliness and fear be the last thing he experiences? Please somebody, give him the home he deserves. If you already have a cat, he would be a great companion for your cat. Rescued! Thank you Ellie!
RESCUED! Thank you Ellie! This pretty girl is stuck at the South LA shelter with her one kitten. I wonder where the rest of her kittens are? She is such a really nice girl-- a little shy at first but warms up so quickly. She is quiet, feminine, sensitive and soulful. She rubbed against me, purring softly and staring at me with her sparkling green eyes. As I was leaving, she tapped me with her paw, trying to get me to stay. Her little baby is quite scared and hides behind her. Mom is so good and grooms her kitten to comfort her.Wouldn't it be wonderful if they could find a home together? These two really need out ASAP!! There are too many cats and the shelter is full. Please email yep6cats@aol.com if you can foster this family to help save their lives. |
This dog is so friendly and sweet, plus only weighs 25 pounds! This dog is SO cute and friendly, I don't understand why she is being overlooked. She used to be a bit shy but now she is so friendly and comes right up to visit. She gets along well with her kennel mates. She weighs just 25 pounds. Seems like the perfect dog, I cannot imgaine why nobody has taken her home. Rescued! thank you ellie!
He arrived at the shelter with his sister, A885280. They have been together their whole lives. This is so sad. Both of these cats seem so well cared for and appear to have been indoors only cats. I don't understand, the owner dumped them claiming "allergic"!! After 5 years the owner suddenly becomes allergic?? I met them when they just arrived and they were SO sad. Dexter, was calm and subdued, obviously shocked by his new scary surroundings. He quietly sniffed my hand and let me pet him but he was just SO sad. His sister was doing even worse. She just could not cope with the small metal cage, the scary sounds and not having her brother to comfort her. She huddled in the back of her cage and hid her face, trying to make it all go away. Unfortunately, I have not been able to go back to see these two. I hope they are hanging in there ok. They have almost no chance of making it out and certainly zero chance of making it into a home together unless somebody on the internet sees them. PLEASE do not adopt the more outgoing brother without taking his sister. She has no chance without him. They would be very loving and grateful companions, please save their lives! REscued. Thank you Lange Foundation! |
rescued, thank you ellie! both kittens are strikingly beautiful and SO sweet. when they arrived, they were very scared so they were marked aggressive. but now, they rub, purr, roll around and ask for tummy rubs. they are just delightful in every way. these poor girls are in separate cages and they reach towards each other and touch paws. the shelter is crowded and the cats do not have much time. please hurry to save them! email yep6cats@aol.com if you can foster or adopt to save a life!
This poor kitty has the biggest mats I have ever seen on a cat! Poor kitty, he must have been so neglected. He has mats the size of baseballs. Seriously, his whole back feels hard and lumpy from the huge mats, it must be so painful and uncomfortable. This is a sweet boy who is shy at first but he quickly warms up to sweet talk and petting. Rescued! Thank you Jacky! |
