This stunning girl with the most fascinating, charming personality is sitting in isolation with her life in danger. She is a real standout in both looks and personality--affectionate, intelligent, sensitive and very interactive. She would be such a nice companion if only she is given a chance. This poor girl and her friends (a837553,554,555) are in isolation because they came from a neglectful home. They are very thin but appear to be in good overall health-alert, playful, affectionate, etc. Unfortunately, they have all caught upper respiratory (kitty colds) at the shelter--every cat catches it--and they need out ASAP! Upper respiratory is easily cured with antibiotics, time and TLC. Rescued! Thank you Amy! |
help! this sweetheart is now in isolation this kitty is so, so sweet! she is very relaxed, rolls over for tummy rubs, rubs her face against you, purrs loudly and just loves to be loved. sadly, she now has upper respiratory and is in isolation where nobody will see her. this is no reflection on her general health, all cats at the shelter catch upper respiratory which is easily treated with antibiotics, time and love. please, please ask to see her--she is a really good, loving, gentle cat who deserves to be treasured in a home. she will not make it out unless somebody from the internet goes to adopt her. no longer at shelter, i need to ask about her outcome.
poor kitty is so scared! this poor girl was dumped at the shelter by her idiotic owner who was moving that day. the kitty is very sweet but very scared. she was hiding under the newspaper trying to make it all go away. i lifted the paper to pet her and she was very sweet, rubbed her face against me and purred. she has been an indoors cat her whole life and needs to be an indoors cat in her new home. Her owner says she is spayed but the shelter has her listed as UNspayed. if you adopt this pretty girl, please ask the vet tech to check to see if she is spayed, we don't want her to have to be sent out to surgery, go under anesthesia for nothing and be cut open! Rescued! Thank you Sherry and Cats Inc! |
This is the most magnificent cat!! This is the most magnificent cat!! He is a BIG guy with a beautiful steel grey coat and striking golden eyes. He is soft and velvety and purrs the minute you pet him. He is in the spay/neuter room, next to the cat room, so nobody can really see that he is available for adoption. (there are so many cats at south l.a., they put them wherever they can find space!) He hangs out at the front of the cage, alert and interested in everything that goes on. He is an easy going, friendly, cuddly, big love of a cat just waiting for somebody to recognize what a gem he is. He is only one year old. Some moron adopted him as a kitten and dumped him back when they moved. WHO could give up such a special cat? Please come meet him, he needs out ASAP! Rescued, thank you Linda!!
rescued! thank you jennifer! sweet mom with 4 adorable kittens. need foster home!! please email yep6cats@aol.com if you would like to foster this family or any shelter cat to help save lives. |
mom and kittens need a foster home! mom and her six adorable kittens were dumped at the shelter because their owners had a new baby. very nice letting their unspayed cat roam around and then dumping her and her kittens at a high volume shelter-as if a cat and kittens cannot live in the same home with a baby?? mom cat is absolutely stunning and SO very sweet. she has 3 orange and white kittens, one orange, one black and white and one all white. please consider fostering this cat family or another shelter cat family. the shelter is very crowded and i am worried about them!! mom and kittens must be rescued together, the kittens are too young to be adopted on their own. Rescued! Thank you Nancy!
This is a GREAT cat. Realy pretty tabby markings and just a really nice boy who sits up at the front and wants to visit with everyone who walks into the room. So sad, he and his two female tabby friends, impound 794000 and 794002, were dumped at the shelter because their people were moving. How hard would it have been to find an apartment that accepts pets? But instead their people choose to dump their cats at a high volume shelter and leave them to a very uncertain fate. really sad. |
Poor, scared kitty! This poor guy is stuck in isolation with a kitty cold he caught at the shelter. This is NO reflection on his general health, almost all the cats catch kitty colds at the shelter. It is easily cured with time and antibiotics. He is really cute but a bit aloof at first. The ACT who was in the room told me he is super sweet and that he was letting her carry him around. She said he is super cuddly. Please ask to visit with him and spend some time getting to know him--he is a very nice kitty with practically no chance of being adopted because he is in isolation. Rescued! Thank you Rescued Pet Foundation!
Mom and her two tiny kittens need a foster home to save their lives! Momma is a beautiful brown tabby with vivid green eyes. She has two kittens, a little boy tabby and a little girl black kitten. They MUST be adopted/rescued together or they will lose their lives together. The shelter does not have the space to keep them until the kitten are old enough to be adopted on their own. her kittens died but the good news is that momma was adopted! thank you veronica!! |
please help lucy!! she is such a NICE cat! lucy was quiet and subdued at first. she just kind of stared at me looking so sad. she has been here since april 29 and caught a kitty cold so she is now being treated in isolation. kitties in isolation do not have a good chance of getting adopted, they are behind closed doors. i kept talking to lucy and it took her a while but she finally turned her head upside down, rolled over and started to playfully respond. she purred slowly and really seemed so comforted to be getting some attention. she seems so lonely and despondent in the shelter. she is very elegant and beautiful. lucy is the type of kitty who would be so loving and devoted. please, somebody save her! Rescued! Thank you Cats Inc.!
Another beautiful Nuts For Mutts leftover.... This is very pretty dog. He was a bit shy but as soon as they would start walking him his head would rise and his tail would wag. He just needs a chance to be in a safe environment. You can tell if given this chance he is going to return the favor with great love. He was great with all the other dogs and very tolerant of a young pup who kept jumping on him. info from a volunteer who met this dog at the shelter: This poor handsome boy is gorgeous, with long, soft, silky hair and beautiful brown eyes. He is absolutely terrified in the shelter and does not show well because he backs away in fear. Once we got him away from all the noise and barking dogs, he began to come out of his shell. Very sweet and gentle, good with other dogs. He is a loving soul just waiting for a gentle loving person to cherish him. |
This sweet boy arrived at the shelter with his friend, Zaidi. Their owner died and the relatives decided that dumping them at a high kill shelter would be the right thing to do. The two dogs are very bonded--they are the only family they have left. Unfortunately, they cannot even board together because the shelter separates males and females. This is a very nice boy. He arrived filthy and matted but was so sweet and gentle when he was groomed by a volunteer. He seemed so grateful to receive some kindness and caring. Do these two dogs really have to die alone and scared at the shelter? Is there somebody with a HUGE heart who can give them a home together? They are both good with other dogs and good with kids. Please, can you help them? Rescued! Thank you New Leash on LIfe! |
