this cat is GORGEOUS! what a great looking kitty. he is scared at the shelter and was hanging at the back of his cage but seemed curious and sweet. if you go to visit with him, please ask a shelter worker to open the cage so you can visit with him. adopted! |
will he get the good home he deserves? this little pup is what everybody wants. he is adorable, SMALL, good natured and affectionate. when he is available on dec. 27 there is no doubt he will be adopted but i worry about the kind of home he will get.i see so many people adopt a small dog for the kids or to be put outside in the backyard. we see these same little dogs dumped back at the shelter neglected, in poor health and just so sad. if you would like to give this darling little boy the loving home he so deserves, please come be at the shelter by 8 a.m. on december 27.
this cat is SO pretty and unique looking she is such an unusual color. they are calling her gray but she is more like a taupe or mushroom color. really very unusual and so pretty! she has big round green eyes that sparkle with life. she is playful, outgoing, friendly and sweet. strangely, the kennel card says her owner dumped her because "she is afraid". i don't get it, this cat is totally outgoing at the shelter--not fearful at all. please come meet this pretty girl, she won't get to stay very long with so many cats coming into the shelter. |
she is absolutely darling! this is the sweetest dog! a tad shy, she slowly approaches the front of the kennel with her tail wagging. her head is down but she looks up to steal little glances. she is super sweet, gives kisses and just wants to be in a home where she can love and be loved. she is on a long hold while they try to locate her possible ower, but as is almost always the case, her owner will probably not come for her. she is available on sept. 11 and she will be desperate for a new, loving home.
i absolutely adore this boy! i am so scared that he will not make it out of the shelter. this sweet, sensitive, GORGEOUS boy was dumped at the shelter because his owners moved. he is scared in a cold metal cage, listening to dogs bark and without a kind word or touch from anybody. he sits at the back of his cage, with his big paw covering his face. when i opened the cage, he seemed so grateful and relieved to be pet and find some comfort. i KNOW this cat will be so loving, cuddly, sensitive and grateful IF somebody adopts him and saves his life. i really, really hope he makes it out, we cannot let this absolute sweetheart die because his uncaring owners moved and left him at a high kill shelter! adopted! |
SHE LOOKS SO DEVASTATED- IT MAKES ME REALLY SAD- check with shelter for available date adopted
this is an AWESOME cat. he has very little time to be adopted, please save him! look how gorgeous he is!! he is absolutely stunning with his long gray coat and gorgeous green eyes. the real attraction is his loving, gentle personality. he is sad at the shelter and sits at the back of his cage. who can blame him? he is in a room with a closed door and nobody even realizes that he needs a home. he is beyond affectionate. he absolutely LOVES to be pet and will immediately purr and want to cuddle. this truly gorgeous, endearing boy SO deserves to live out the rest of his life. 6 years is young, he can easily live another 10 + years, IF he gets adopted. i know that somebody would just adore him--he is really a special boy. thank goodness, this boy was adopted by a kind lady named kim. even though he was very sick and the shelter staff strongly discouraged her, kim still adopted him and saved his life! |
HELP! this gorgeous girl never had a chance! she is as sweet as she is pretty. this pretty kitty came into the shelter very scared and ended up in isolation with a "caution" note on her kennel card because she hissed a bit. after a few days, she completely mellowed out but nobody bothered to re-evaluate her. she is SO sweet! when i visit her she rubs, purrs and just cannot get enough petting and attention. she would be the most wonderful pet, but she has NO chance unless somebody sees her on this website and asks about her. you see, she has been sitting in isolation behind a locked door for two weeks simply because nobody bothered to move her into the cat room and now she is on the euthanize list!! she is healthy, lovable, gorgeous and almost dead. please, please save this incredible girl. i promise you will love her. (note: she seems to want to be the only cat in the household) Adopted! thank you Lois who drove all the way from Riverside to save this sweet kitty!
this darling little dog is stuck in isolation where nobody will see him or know that he exists! this poor little guy was sitting and trembling in his cage. the minute i opened the door to his cage, he sprang forward, wagging his tail furiously and he covered me with kisses. i was so surprised to so a supposedly 15 year old dog SO active and full of energy, i really think he is younger. the poor guy showed up as a stray. it appears that somebody has treated him well and i can't help but think that somebody must be looking for this little guy. he is being treated with amoxi but the dog didn't seem to look or act sick. he is truly just the dearest, most loving, adorable little dog. he is trying so hard to be brave but, obviously, he has reason to be afraid. he is tiny, maybe 6 or 7 pounds. PLEASE don't let this wondeful boy who is so filled with LIFE and LOVE die alone and afraid at the shelter. he needs out ASAP, his review date is June 7, tomorrow! rescued! for adoption information please email joynicholson@mac.com |
she is the most charming kitty! i love this cat! she is completely adorable, all round, soft and pastel colors. she has eyes that sparkle. she LOVES people and will immediatley start to rub and purr when you approach her cage. she is very easy going and calm, affectionate and just an all around sweetheart. please hurry to meet her--it is kitten season and the adults do not get to stay very long. adopted!
she is unbelievably cute and cuddly. WAY cuter than my crummy pic: she just wouldn't hold still for a picture. she stands on her hind legs and wags her whole body furiously, so happy to get some love and attention. she is tiny and completely adorable. listed as ten years and she may be, but she looks like a pup and has oodles of energy. she is in isolation with eye infections but that doesn't stop her from somehow still being a happy girl. this is a GREAT little dog who is locked away behind closed doors with NO chance of being adopted unless somebody from the internet goes to get her. if you met this dog,YOU would want her. she is a doll. out of time, held since april 3 . rescued! thank you Animal Alliance! |
this loving girl was born without eyes. can you believe she was dumped by her owner? according to the shelter, she has a congenital defect--born without eyes. gosh, i have no words to describe the kind of person who is capable of dumping this cat at the shelter. the guy said it was his own cat but had no i.d. kitty is BEYOND SWEET . when you pet her she rubs, she rolls, she purrs, she throws her body onto you, she is a complete and total LOVE ANGEL!! very petite and dainty kitty. blindness is not a real problem for animals. i have a blind kitty who gets around just fine. i am sure this little white kitty will be able to get around just fine too, if given the chance to be in a home again. she is locked away in the medical room where nobody can see her--she has NO chance. obviously, with her special needs a quiet forever home would be wonderful, a quiet foster home would be the next choice. adopted! thank you maryann! |
