ZION is the most magnificent, impressive dog! What a GREAT DOG!! I really like this boy so much. At first, I have to admit I was put off by his humongous head and his massive, stocky body but this boy is just a little, mushy puppy who only wants to be loved. He is absolutely gentle, loving, goofy, charming and endearing. He has no clue that he is such a big, strapping dog or that anyone would ever be afraid of him. I wonder what happened to his person. Zion seems to have been very well treated. He looks so healthy, has a great attitude, has obviously been treated with love and is already neutered. Please come meet this very unusual, very special boy who so deserves to be in a loving home. His life is in danger, please hurry! adopted! |
Shady is so sad, she knows her people abandoned her! Poor Shady, she was a loving and loyal dog for so many years and her reward was to be dumped at a high kill shelter. Her people moved and left her behind. This dog is so sad and dejected, she hangs her head as if she thinks it is her fault that they left her. I can tell that her heart is shattered by the betrayal and I can tell that she is mourning the loss of her people. I wonder if her family has thought of her even once since they dumped her back on January 6. Shady is very sweet but subdued. She comes to the front to visit but there is such a deep sadness about her. She is a kind and gentle dog, she is good with people and very sweet with her kennel mates. She doesn't need much--a place to rest, a few kind words, a pat on the head. Mostly she needs somebody to love her who she can love back--somebody who is worthy of her love. Adopted! Thank you Dina for having the compassion to open your home to a loving senior dog!
THEY WERE ADOPTED FOUR YEARS AGO AS TINY KITTENS. THEIR OWNER DIED AND THE NEPHEW DUMPED THE CATS BACK AT THE SHELTER. WHAT CHANCE DO THEY HAVE? They need a loving home together!! Please email cockersandkittys@aol.com if you can help in any way. Please don't let them die! These two cats are magnificent. BIG, ROUND, impressive looking cats. Everything about them is round--they have round, round heads, big green ROUND eyes and big round, cuddly bodies. They are completely adorable. I can tell they were well loved, well cared for indoors only cats. Sadly, their person died and her delightful nephew decided to honor her memory by dumping her beloved cats at a high kill shelter. These poor cats are terrified by the scary sounds of barking dogs, kids screaming, clanging cages, etc. I opened the cage to visit with them and they huddled closer together. The boy kitty let out a little growl He is NOT mean, he is just VERY scared. I pet his head and he was unsure but he let me. I can tell he will be a big, cuddly LOVE if he makes it into a home. His sister could not resist being pet. She lifted her body to meet my hand and suddenly turned into a charming goofball. She turned her head upside down, she made silly faces at me, she rolled on her side and purred up a storm. What a cutie!! These two cats have lived their whole lives together and are deepy bonded. They must find a home together, PLEASE do not separate them. They will both be the dearest, most loving and grateful pets you could ever want. Please remember, they are still the same adorable kittens that everyone wanted 4 years ago--just bigger. Adopted together! |

Shy and Sweet This boy is SO beautiful! He arrived in a trap s it would seem as if he has lived outside and had a difficult life. He is shy at first. When I opened the cage to pet him, he sort of ducked and looked at the back wall of his cage--unsure of whether to trust me or not. As soon as he figured out that I was his friend, he started to purr-at first slow and cautious but then he really warmed up and starting rubbing his face against my hand, purring louder. LOVE HIM! he is a really nice boy and would make be a really good companion. Please save him! Adopted! |

HELP! SHE IS "RED LISTED" AND CAN BE EUTH'D AT ANY TIME THIS DOG IS STUNNING!! She is an absolute knock out--very graceful and on the smaller side for a Rottie mix. I cannot believe that she has not been adopted. She is a very sweet, quiet girl who does not call attention to herself. She has great manners-does not leap about or bark. She just stands there quietly looking at you with eyes that pierce right through your heart. When I pet her, she closed her eyes and smooshed herself against the front of the cage, trying to get closer to me. Does this beautiful, sweet dog really have to die at the very young age of one year?? Somebody would love her to pieces, she is a GREAT dog! Please email yep6cats@aol.com if you are able to foster or adopt. |
He has been at the shelter WAY too long, he needs out ASAP! HELP! This little guy arrived at the shelter in a trap. He was originally marked aggressive because he was afraid. When I first saw him, he was huddled in the back with his head facing the corner. I spoke softly to him and he turned around, started to purr and made "nursey paws". He was scared but he let me pet him. It took him a bit to warm up but then he became SO sweet. I have not seen him since but from what the shelter tells me, he is a COMPLETE LOVE and very affectionate now that he is feeling less scared. Not only is he a total sweetheart but he is really cute and UNUSUAL looking. His eyes are practically clear with just the tiniest hint of pale, pale blue. He is a bit cross eyed which tells me he is part Siamese. The boy is really quite beautiful but also very cuddly and endearing at the same time. Please don't let this kitty who arrived SO frightened and who has made so much progress, die scared and alone at the shelter. Adopted! Thank you Nola!
She is so sweet but not showing well, she needs HELP! This pretty girl is so sad at the shelter. She stays at the back of her cage, eyes closed as if she is trying to make all the bad things just go away. She used to have a home but now she is stuck in a small cage at the scary shelter. When I opened the cage to pet her, she seemed SO relieved to have some human contact. She lifted her body to meet my hand and talked up a storm, as if wanting to tell me about the ordeal she has been through. She purred and stared at me with her pretty blue eyes. This girl is getting overlooked and will not find a home unless somebody sees her on the internet and goes to adopt her. Be sure to ask a kennel worker to open her cage so you can visit and see what a nice girl she is. Adopted! Thank you Phyllis! |
