This is another GREAT dog! He was rolling around on his back when I approached his kennel--playing with another dog. He's very playful and fun! He forgot about the other dog when he saw me though. He came up and rolled onto his back for a tummy rub. Unfortunatly, I was not able to give him one because there were bars in the way. Either way, he is a reall sweetheart! ALL LOVE! He is really getting overlooked! I dont' understand why? He's such a beautiful dog--and you couldn't ask for a nicer temperament! Just visit wtih him, you will be smitten! calico, tabby Impound No. a657959,657960 Kennel No. cat room Female 1 year Available: Sun, Jul 11 Date Photo Taken: Sat, Jul 17 both euthanized. i am heartbroken. the mom cat is a beautiful calico and so very dear and sweet. she takes good care of her cute little kitten and the two are always cuddled together. the kitten is now 8 weeks, old enough to be adopted on her own. what usually happens is the kitten is adopted and the mom cat is left to die at the shelter because adults have such a hard time competing with the kittens. i really cannot imagine what kind of a person is capable of adopting a kitten and leaving its mother to die. i hope this has a happy ending, if you are thinking of adopting two together, how about these two who love each other already? they have been here too long and are in trouble, they need out now. if you would like to foster this mom and her kitten or ANY cat at this shelter to help save lives, please email yep6cats@aol.com	dsh tabby Impound No. a659830 Kennel No. isolation Female 1 year Available: Sun, Jul 18 Date Photo Taken: Sat, Jul 17 she is so friendly, yet she is in isolation for being "fractious" hopefully, this girl has been moved up to the cat room so that she has a chance to be adopted. when she first arrived, she must have been very scared so they marked her kennel card "fractious" and put her in isolation. when i saw her yesterday, there was NOTHING fractious about her. she could not have been any sweeter. rubbing, purring, poking her paws out and eager for love and attention. please look for her, if she is still in isolation she will have no chance to find a home. and if she is moved up to the cat room, it will still be difficult for her to get out with so many kittens to compete with. this is truly a really nice, gentle loving girl. she came in with a 3 months kitten, impound a659831. 7/22 still at the shelter and VERY urgent. this extra affectionate, sweet girl has just days to live. please save her life! she will be an awesome companion.euthanized 7/22 after i wrote this. rest in peace, sweet kitty.

I adore this dog. She gave me such a look, it made my heart melt. The other dogs were fighting and she was cowering in the corner, as far away from the fight as possible. She wanted no part of it, and she found comfort in me when I was there. After the dog fight was broken up, she licked the wounds of the cattledog in her kennel. She then came back to me and gave me the sweetest kisses and wagged her tail. She smashed herself against the kennel bars (as you can see in her pictures) to get as close as possible. She is a total doll!So gentle, sweet and wise. If you meet this dog, you will fall in love, she is quite charming, and who could resist that adorable and innocent face. Please save her life before it is too late! I cannot imagine her not making it out alive, she would walk to the back with her head held high, thinking she was going for a walk, not knowing what was really going to happen to her. euthanized. please save another dog's life in her honor.

He can now leave. Please help him! Please save him! This guy was held as evidence in a humane case since September of 2003, over 9 months! He has grown up in the system. It is all he has known. Please help him to see what life is like outside of a cage. He is sweet, just a little scared at first. I talked to him and he soon turned into a happy little guy! It would be tragic if he lived here his entire life, only to die here at 11 months old. He is already neutered, so can go home if adopted or rescued. The pictures do not do her justice! She has a beautiful long coat and gorgeous eyes! She is a doll! And has a personality to match. When I visited wth her, she was a little shy at first, but as soon as I began to pet her, the shyness disappeared. She was all over me! And so sweet! She is in a cage with her friend the Maine Coon--Billy (A648483). She let him get attention, but when she wanted some, she let me know by letting out a little chirp of a meow. It was adorable! Her life is in danger! It would be great if someone could take both her and her friend. Princess is already spayed, so can go home the day she is adopted! Euthanized	dsh gray/russian blue Impound No. a645512 Kennel No. cat room Female 1 year 6 months Available: Sun, May 23 Date Photo Taken: Mon, May 24 More Photos Available help! this cat is pregnant--she needs to be adopted ASAP! how cute is this kitty? she has light grey, almost silvery fur and bright green eyes. more like a true russian blue than many others i have seen. but her beauty and sweet personality may not be enough to save this girl's life. she is pregnant and if she does not get adopted she will either be euthanized before giving birth or she will have her kittens at the shelter and be in a really bad situation. the shelter does not have room to keep a mom and babies until the babies are old enough to be adopted on their own. so cat families (and dog families too) must be rescued together or euthanized together. the only way to save this pretty cat is if someone adopts her so she can be sent to the spay clinic and NOT have her kittens. she will go home happy and healthy without kittens. please come to the shelter to visit with her and see for yourself what a great cat she is.
